Subtitle Shift for widescreen without any missing subtitles
Subtitle Shift is an enhancement feature that lets users manually adjust a movie's subtitle positioning on the television or computer screen. Using the remote control, users can shift the subtitles up and down on the screen. On widescreen displays, such as 21:9 cinema and projectors, the subtitles sometimes get cut off. In order to see them clearly, the user has to change the display aspect ratio, which defeats the purpose of the widescreen. With the Subtitle Shift feature, the user can retain the correct display aspect ratio and have the subtitles ideally positioned on the screen.

A very solid performer with blu ray and dvd .
The 9500 feels very well constructed, solid and stable with quick loading times. Picture performance with blu ray and dvd both very good. Sound performance excellent and having the benefit of analogue outputs ideal for anyone with an AV receiver with no HDMI connections.

Voortreffelyke blueray speler.
Het is een goede blueray speler alleen de display werkt niet meer maar daar werkt hy wel om,je kunt op het beeld zien wat er gebeurt n.l.

Prachtige blue ray speler
Ik heb hem op marktplaats gekocht maar er zyn problemen met de lade,hy sluit niet helemaal dan komt hy weer naar buiten of hy wil helemaal niet open gaan en soms geen signaal op tv scherm,maar dat ligt niet aan philips ,ik ben belazerd door de verkoper die hem my heeft verkocht.De beed kwaliteit is goed en het geluid ook,ik laat hem maken denk door philips.
